Jaysen Baker
#K9
Jaysen Baker drives the #K9 Mini Sprint
Class car. His home track is I-30 Speedway but he can also be
found racing at Beebe Speedway and Central Arkansas Speedway. He
lives in Bryant, AR.
Team members helping Jaysen are:
Jim Baker - Dad, Tony Floyd, Jase Hanig, Glen Brown, Brooke Huckaby -
girlfriend, and last, but not least, thanks Mom!
Jaysen started racing in 2007 in the
Mini Sprint Class at I-30 Speedway because his Dad raced Sprint cars for
30 years and it's in his blood. Career highlights include racing
with a few guys that raced with his Dad and that Jaysen grew up watching
race.
The thrill of racing for Jaysen is the
intensity of running in a big pack of cars, nothing is better! His
most exciting racing moment was doing pretty good at the 600 Nats with
guys who have 20+ years in the seat. He's most proud that after
the car was painted, seeing his Dad's number on it and seeing his face
when he saw it!
Jaysen's racing heroes are Jim Baker K9
and John Suggs 77.
Of racing, Jaysen says, "If you ever get
the chance, do it! Never let fear stand in the way of your dreams
in life!".
