Ess drives the #00 Allison Legacy Class car. His home track is Concord Motorsports Park. He lives in Kannapolis, NC.

Team members helping Ess are: Estus White III (Dad), Carolyn White (Mom), Nathan White (Brother), Estus B. White (Grandfather), Bob "Koolaid" Johnston, and Ben Hinson. Estus White III and Carolyn White are the car owners.

Ess started racing SCCA Autocross at the age of 8 in Formula Jr. Karts. He began Road Course racing at the age of 13 with NASA in a Mazda Spec Miata at Rockingham and Roebling Road in Savannah, GA. At the age of 14 Ess moved into the Allison Legacy Series. He started racing because his Dad took him to the races from the time he was born. Ess also took a ride in a 3rd Generation Twin Turbo RX7 at 140 MPH at Charlotte Motor Speedway while he was still in the womb.

The thrill of racing for Ess is going fast. His most exciting moments are going fast beside someone into turn one. He is most proud of beating his Dad's lap time at Rockingham Speedway in a Spec Miata on the road course at a NASA event.

Ess's racing hero is Ben Hinson.
