Corey started racing in 1998 in the Go
Karts Class at Amelia Motor Raceway because his Dad used to Drag Race.
Corey started going to the track at six months old. It is all he's
ever wanted to do. He loves it! His first win was in 1998 in
the Purple Plate Go Karts Class at Amelia Motor Raceway.
Career highlights include 1999 Track Champion Amelia Motor Raceway, 2000
& 2002 Virginia Dirt Karting Association State Champion, 2000 & 2002 WKA
National Champion, 2003 North American Dirt Track Championship, 2000 &
2002 VDKA/WKA Regional Champion, winning World Championships at Daytona
and Grand National in same year, 114 Feature wins in Go Karting.
The thrill of racing for Corey is the
competition, the speed, and the thrill of winning. His most
exciting racing moment was winning Daytona World Championship from the
Pole. He's most proud of his success, and the dedication that his
Dad has toward Corey's dream of becoming a Professional Race Car Driver
coming true.
Corey's racing hero is Kyle Petty.
