Dion Deason drives the #D1 Late Model Class car.  He races with the Carolina Clash series.  He lives in Greenwood, SC.

Dion started racing in 1977 in the Limited Late Model Class at Newberry Speedway because of his love of the sport.  His first win was the same year.  Career highlights include breaking the Track Record at Brownstown Speedway (IN) 3 times and winning the most consecutive races at Brownstown Speedway ever!  Dion was Track Champion at Brownstown Speedway, won ride to Charlotte, won over 100 Features and 3 consecutive wins at Brownstown Speedway.
