Steve Thomas drives Sprint car  #20.  Races out of and lives in Ludow, IL.  His home track is Danville and he also likes racing at Terre Haute and Charleston.

Steve is the sales development director for Bell Racing and his job takes him all over the USA helping drivers stay safe.

Steve started racing in 1976 achieving his first win the same year.  He wanted to follow his fathers footsteps.

During his career he has had Track Championships at Rantoul, Sibley, Arcola and Charleston.

The thrill of racing for Steve is getting to race with his dad, Al Thomas.  His greatest thrill of racing has been winning the Ford County Fair Race in 1983.

His favorite driver is A. J. Foyt
