Rusty Drye drives the #84 Red Neck Racer Class car.  His home track is Lowes Motor Speedway but he can also be found racing anywhere!  He lives in Rockwell, NC.

Team members helping Rusty are:  Crew Chief - Matt Drye, Chris James, Larry Henderson, Jerome T, Bob Dillner.

Rusty started racing in 2003 in the Road Hawgs Class at Lowes Motor Speedway because he enjoys it.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include 2 wins in 2004 in Road Hawgs at Lowes Motor Speedway and 1 win in 2005.

The thrill of racing for Rusty is finishing in front of your buddies.  His most exciting racing moment was winning at LMS All Star Night and finishing in front of Bob Dillner at Kenley Motor Speedway in 2006.  He's most proud of winning 3 races.

Rusty's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Of racing, Rusty says, "It's hot, hard work but when the green flag drops nothing else matters but getting to the checkered flag!".
