Tim Lance drives the #48 Late Model Class car.  He lives in Mapleton, IL.  His home track is Peoria Speedway.

He started racing in 1994 in the Late Model Class at Peoria Speedway because he is the 3rd generation to do so.  His first win was in 1994 in the Late Model class at East Moline Speedway.  Career highlights include:  Peoria Speedway Track Champion 2003, 2nd NASCAR Weekly Racing Series Heartland Region, 11 Feature wins in 2003.

The thrill of racing for Tim is the adrenaline before the race and then the feeling of accomplishment after it's over.  His most exciting racing moment was winning the season Championship at Peoria with his wife, Patti and 2 boys, Tim Jr. and Brandon at the track.  He is most proud that we keep the family involved.

Tim's racing hero is his Dad, Steve Lance Sr.
