Lee Thomason drives the #53 Late Model Class car.  He lives in Marion, IL.  His home track is Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway but he can also be found racing at Paducah International Raceway.

He started racing in 1990 in the Late Model Class at Tri State Speedway for the challenge and competition along with getting out with the family.  His first win in Late Model was in 2003 at Okeechobee, FL. 

The thrill of racing for Lee is the smiles on the faces of family and friends and fans.  His most exciting racing moment was winning his first Heat race at Tri State.  He's most proud of all the big shows he's made. 

Lee's racing heroes are Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt.
