Zach Carney drives the #56 Late Model
Class car. He lives in Mooresville, IN. His home track is
Brownstown Speedway but he can also be found racing at Union County
Speedway.
He started racing in 1996 in the Go-Karts
Class at Whiteland Raceway because racing has been in his family.
His first win was in 1995 in the Go-Karts Class at Whiteland Raceway.
Career highlights include: 1997 Whiteland Raceway Go-Karts Track
Champion, 1998 Columbus IN. Track Champion Go-Karts Gold Plate, 1999
Columbus track Champion Senior Lite, 2000 Linton IN Mini Sprint 14th
Overall, 2001 Lincoln Park Speedway midseason Points Champ 2nd place and
Rookie of the Year, 2002 Bloomington Speedway 4th place, 2003Union County
Asphalt cars series 3rd place and UMP Modifieds 10th place.
The thrill of racing for Zach is the speed
and challenge. His most exciting racing moment was winning his first
race in a full size dirt car at 13 years old in Putnamville IN LPS.
He's most proud of making to the level that I am at now - Late Models.
