Eddie Van Meter drives the #23 Super Late Model Class car.  He lives in Indianapolis, IN.  His home track is Indianapolis Raceway Park but he can also be found racing at Speedrome, Anderson and Winchester.

He started racing  in 1988 in the Stock class at Bloomington because his Dad raced when Eddie was growing up.  His first win was in 1992 in the Stock Class at Speedrome.  Career highlights include:  1992 Speedrome Track Champion and 1996 Budlight Champion, 1999 Super Trucks IRP Champion, 1999 Great Lakes Champ and 1999 National Champ.

The thrill of racing for Eddie is the speed and controlling it.  He's most proud of his IRP Championship.

Eddie's racing hero is JR Handly #66.

Of racing, Eddie says, "Get a lot of money or stay home!".
