Ricky Moxley drives the #38 Modified Class
car. He lives in Stuart, Fla. His home track is New Smyrna
Speedway but he can also be found racing at Orlando, Hialeah, Punta
Gorden, Ft.Pierce Speedway, Hobe sound Speedway, Jasper, and Fruitland
Park.
He started racing in 1988 in the Pure
Stock Class at Hialeah Speedway because it was in his families blood.
His father, Roy Moxley and uncle Vaughn Heath started it all. His
first win was in 1992 in the Pure Stock class. Career highlights
include winning 72 races in 4 years in Go Kart racing all over the country
before getting into Stock cars with his parents. Ricky says he's
blessed with good friends and family.
The thrill of racing for Ricky is seeing
how happy people around him are and the support they give him. His
most excitement in racing are the green flag laps. He's most proud
of winning every car he's been in.
Ricky's racing heroes are Tim Slater, Roy
Moxley and Vaughn Heath.
Of racing, Ricky says, "Stay positive in
life, believe in God, love your family and everything will be fine!".
