Dennis Gilliam Jr. drives the #40 Sportsman Class car.  He lives in Mims, Fla.  His home track is New Smyrna Speedway but he can also be found racing at Orlando Speedway.

He started racing in 1989 in the Run A Bouts Class at Orlando Speedway.  He's finished in 2nd and 3rd place many times.

The thrill of racing for Dennis is the speed, running side by side as fast as you can .......but only on the track!  His most exciting racing moments are all of them.  He's most proud that he has gotten as far as he has with a lot of help.

Dennis's racing hero is Big E (Dale Sr.)

Of racing , Dennis says, "It's fun but it costs big time!".
