Steve Kidwell

Steve Kidwell drives the #3 Legends Masters Class car.  He lives in Duck Key, TX.  His home track is Texas Motor Speedway.

He started racing in 1999 in the Masters Class at Red River Speedway and Texas Motor Speedway because he always wanted to and then found a sponsor.  His first win was that same year at TMS.  Career highlights include 1999 Legends Winter Series Championship, Top 10 Texas Division from 1999-2003, 5th Legends National Championship in 2003.

The thrill of racing for Steve is the competition.  His most exciting racing moment was 2003 National Championships - came from 60th to 5th with a sick motor.  He's most proud of being competitive from the git go!

Steve's racing hero is Pete Frazee.
