Robert Merino

Robert Merino drives the #42 Legend Masters Class car.  He lives in Plano, TX.  His home track is Texas Motor Speedway.

He started racing in 1999 in the Legends Masters Class at Texas Motor Speedway because he always wanted to race.  After a buddy and he went to the Richard Petty Driving School, he got the fever during Winston Cup weekend.  His first win was in 1999 in the Semi Pro Class at TMS.  He's won the Track Championship for Masters 4 of the last 5 years.

The thrill of racing for Robert is the competition and adjusting the car.  He's most proud of learning how to work on the cars and winning the Track Championships.

Of racing, Robert says, "Watching is fun, driving is funner!".
