Gary Bales

Gary Bales drives the #69 Legends Class car.  He lives in Sunbury, Ohio.  His home track is Columbus Motor Speedway but he can also be found racing at Kil-Kare, Mansfield and Shadybowl.

He started racing in 2001 in the Legends Class at Columbus because he'd always wanted to race and finally got the opportunity.  His first win was in 2003 in the Legends Class at Columbus Motor Speedway.  Career highlights include:  Rookie of the Year in 2001, won Charger Division Point Championship.

The thrill of racing for Gary is speed and the camaraderie at all the tracks, and the thrill of competing.  His most exciting racing moment was when he won at Columbus.  He's most proud of his Point Championship Trophy and his first win.

Gary's racing heroes are Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr.
