Matt Davis

Matt Davis drives the #01 Late Model Class car.  He lives in Lovington, IL.  His home track is Kamp Motor Speedway.

He started racing in 1998 in the Street Stock Class at Benton County Speedway because he liked to work on cars and go fast.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include 3 - 2nd place in Points and 2 - 3rd place finishes in Points.

The thrill of racing for Matt is going fast.  His most exciting racing moment was finishing 2nd 2 years in a row in the big race at Boswell.  He's most proud of doing everything himself and doing good. 

Matt's racing heroes are Billy Moyer and Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Of racing, Matt says, "Do it while you can!".
