Sherri Heckenast Late Model #99 from Blue Island, Il.   Sherri's home track is LaSalle Speedway but she can also be found racing at Kankakee Speedway Sherri follows the Northern All-Stars Late Model Series. 

Sherri began racing in 1995 in the 4-cylinder division. She got her first win in 1996 at the Santa Fe Speedway. Her best points finish is 16th in the NALMS in 2000.

Sherri's late model is a Rayburn chassis with a Chevy Monte Carlo body powered by a Rhyne 415 race engine.

Her racing heroes are Mike Jewell and her father Frank Heckenast.

Sherri's greatest racing accomplishment is her 2nd place finish in the Rookie points in 2000. Her greatest racing thrill was racing at Kankakee, in the middle of the feature, the power went out.
