Gene Lasker drives the #02 Sprint Class car.  He lives in Tampa, FLA.  His home track is East Bay Raceway Park but he can also be found racing at Knoxville Speedway and Volusia Speedway Park.

Gene started racing in 1988 in the Street Stock Class at East Bay Raceway Park because it looked like fun!  His first win was in 1988 in the Street Stock Class at East BayRaceway Park.  Career highlights include AWOL Championship, 1994 East Bay Raceway Park Track Champion, 1996 Florida State Champion, 1997 South East Tour Outlaw Champion and 2002 Florida State Champion 360 cu.

The thrill of racing for Gene is winning big!  His most exciting racing moment was dethroning the Champion Sam Rodriquez.  He's most proud of becoming one of the best!

Gene's racing hero is Danny Lasawski.
