Steve Wetter drives the #33 Modified Class car.  He lives in Platteville, WI.  His home track is Lafayette County Speedway but he can also be found racing at Grant County Speedway.

He started racing in 1998 in the Hobby Stock Class at Grant County Speedway because it is an exciting family sport.  His first win was in 1999 in the Hobby Stock.  Career highlights include:  1998 Grant County Speedway Hobby Stock Track Championship, 2003 Lafayette County Speedway Modified Track Championship.

The thrill of racing for Steve is winning.  His most exciting racing moment was the Dubuque County Fair Race in 2003.  He's most proud of 19 wins in 2003.

Steve's racing hero is Ronnie Barker.

Of racing, Steve says, "Just go to the races once and you will be hooked!".
