Ron Barker drives the #37B Modified Class
car. He lives in Dubuque, IA. His home track is Dubuque Fair
Speedway but he can also be found racing at Farley Speedway and Echo
Valley Speedway.
He started racing in 1978 in the Street
Stock Class at Dubuque Fair Speedway because it's all he's ever done.
His first win was in 1979 in the Street Stock Class. Career
highlights include 6 time Dubuque Points Champion, 5 times Farley Speedway
Points Champion, 2 times Yankee Dirt Track Classic wins, 2002-2003
Valvoline Cup Champ, 2003 Valvoline National Champion, 3 times All Iowa
Points State Champion!
The thrill of racing for Ron is the
competition. His most exciting racing moment was winning his first
Yankee Dirt Track Classic in 2002. He's most proud of being a clean
driver and not tearing up my competition.
Ron's racing hero is Davey Allison.
