 Ron Barker

Ron Barker drives the #37B Modified Class car.  He lives in Dubuque, IA.  His home track is Dubuque Fair Speedway but he can also be found racing at Farley Speedway and Echo Valley Speedway.

He started racing in 1978 in the Street Stock Class at Dubuque Fair Speedway because it's all he's ever done.  His first win was in 1979 in the Street Stock Class.  Career highlights include 6 time Dubuque Points Champion, 5 times Farley Speedway Points Champion, 2 times Yankee Dirt Track Classic wins, 2002-2003 Valvoline Cup Champ, 2003 Valvoline National Champion, 3 times All Iowa Points State Champion!

The thrill of racing for Ron is the competition.  His most exciting racing moment was winning his first Yankee Dirt Track Classic in 2002.  He's most proud of being a clean driver and not tearing up my competition.

Ron's racing hero is Davey Allison.

Of racing, Ron says, "Stay competitive but have fun doing it!".
