Zach Chappell drives the #50z Sprint Class car.  He lives in Talala, Ok. 

He started racing in 1995 in the Micro Midget Class at Port City because he was following his father.  His first win was that same year.  In 2001 Zach was the ASCS National Champion.

The thrill of racing for Zach is the speed and the reaction time.  His most exciting racing moment was his first win in 2001 and the year he won the John Bankston & Ronald Laney Memorial Race.  He's most proud of being the youngest Champion at 18 years old.

Of racing, Zach says, "You can't beat turning right to go left!".
