Myron DeYoung

Myron DeYoung drives the #7 IMCA Modified Class car.  He lives in Crystal, MI.  His home track is Crystal Motor Speedway but he can also be found racing at Ionia Raceway Park.

He started racing in 1990 in the Street Stock Class at Crystal Motor Speedway as his family races.  His first win was in 1995 in the Modified Class at Merritt Speedway.  Career highlights include Mid Michigan Track Champion 1997-98, Cherry Speedway Track Champion 1997, Crystal Motor Speedway Track Champion 2002-03, Michigan IMCA State Champion 2002-2003.

The thrill of racing for Myron is being the fastest.  His most exciting racing moment was racing at Eldora Speedway.  He's most proud of never giving up even through the hard times.

Myron's racing hero is Roger Wing.

Of racing, Myron says, "It's not easy and it costs a lot of money, so get help!".
