Roy Swinehort

Roy Swinehort drives the #33 Dirt Modified Class car. He lives in Bechtelsville, Pa. His home track is  Grandview Speedway, but he can also be found racing at Big Diamond Speedway.

Crew and others who have helped include, Bob Sheidy, Kevin Kuser, Tim Nordon, Kirk Suchard, Mark Hallman,  Mike Matthew and Dennis Kohl.

He began racing in 1975 in Small Block Modified at Nazareth, because he just loves racing. His first win was is 1980 at Grandview in Small Block Class. Career highlights include, winning Forest Rogers Memorial Race at Grandview two times and three Track Championships at Grandview Speedway.

The thrill of racing for him is getting behind the wheel and stomping on it. His most exciting racing moment was winning his first Championship. He is most proud of the Feature wins at National Speedway.

Roy's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.

Of racing, Roy says, "If you have never been to a race,  then go there a dozen times and you will not be able to stay away".
