Kara Clarke drives the #21
Bandolero-Legend Class car. She lives in Palm Beach Gardens,
Florida. Her home track is Orlando Speedworld, but she can also be found
racing at Atlanta, Charlotte and Avon Park.
Her crew and people who have helped out
include, Tom Clarke-Dad, Andy Coker Crew Chief Darin Coker.
She began racing in 2004 in Bandolero
Class at Orlando because she and her family used to race recreational Go
Karts and thought it would be fun to get into competition, so she
and her Dad bought two cars and began racing in 2004. Her first win was in
Bandolero-Outlaw Class at Orlando. Career highlights include, Regional
Champion Bandolero Outlaw and seven Feature wins at Orlando.
The thrill of racing for Kara is
having the competitive spirit to win against other drivers. Her most
exciting racing moment was the Regional Champion win with all of her
friends and family at the race, only after racing for 6 months. She is
most proud of her competitive spirit.
Kara's racing hero is Tina Gordon.
Of racing, Kara says, "It is great family
fun and a great family sport. We get to travel to some neat places and see
great race tracks."
