James Fowlkes drives the #86 Semi Pro Legends Class car. He lives in McEwen, Tenn. His home track is  Music City Motorplex, but he can also be  found racing at Highland Rim Speedway.

Crew members and people who have helped include, Tim and Laura Fowlkes, and Ken Joyce. Car owner is Tim Fowlkes.

He began racing in 1998 in Go Karts in Montgomery, Alabama and in 2004 in Legends at Nashville, TN. after following in his Father's footsteps. His first win was in  1999 in Go Karts at Shelbyville, TN and in 2004 in Legend Class at Highland Rim Speedway. Career highlights include Tenn. State Champion in Go Karts 2000 - 2002, Grand National Champion 2002 Humphrey, N. Y. Go Karts and winning Legends Race his Rookie Year.

The thrills of racing for James are the fun of it and the speed. His most exciting racing moment was winning the Grand national in Humphreys, NY. He is most proud of the people that support him.
