Steve Arpin drives the #00 Modified Class
car. He lives in Fort Frances, Ontario. His home track is Cedar Lake, but
he can also be found racing at Superior, Emo, Proctor, Princeton, and many
other tracks.
Car owner is his Dad, Chuck Arpin. Crew
members include, Danny Boileau, Joey Galloway, Dale Jerry, Chuck Arpin.
Mark Davis. Ken Anderson, Jason Anderson, and Kevin Wholen.
He began racing in 1999 in Modified Class
at Emo because his Dad was always involved in racing and Steve loved being
there also. His first win was in 1999 in Modified Class at Victory Lane
Speedway. Career highlights include, 3 Track Championships, raced for 3
years at Emo and won every Feature. He won 4 Driver of the Year Awards, 5
Sportsman of the Year Awards, Rice Lake Labor Day Champion, Silver 1000
Champion and WISSOTA 100 Champion.
The thrills of racing for him are the
speed, people and the things you learn. His most exciting racing moment
was winning the WISSOTA 100. He is most proud of how fast they have
adapted to racing in the South and winning some of the Specials they did
at a young age.
Steve's racing hero is Craig Thatcher.
Of racing Steve says, "You can never be
too fast, even if you lap the field, there is still room for improvement."
