Bob Pohlman drives the #1P Modified Class
car. He lives in Oak Lawn, Illinois. His home track is Kamp Motor Speedway
but he can also be found racing at Kankakee Speedway.
He began racing in 1983 in Sportsman Class
at Santa' Fe Speedway because all of his family was in racing. His first
win was in 1984 in Sportsman Class at Santa' Fe Speedway. Career
highlights include Kankakee Speedway Champion 1990, 1991, 1992, 1994 and
2002 in Late Model Class, Santa Fe Speedway Champion 1990 in Late Model
Class, Kamp Motor Speedway Champion 2003 in Modified Class, East Bat
Winter Nationals 2002 in Modified Class.
The thrill of racing for Bob is running
wide open all the way around. His most exciting racing moment was the East
Bay Winter nationals in 2002 when he won $10,000. He is most proud of
that win and World 100 in 1997, Summer Nationals LaSalle Speedway when he
won $5000.00

that have taught him.
