Mark Herbert drives the #L88 Modified Class car. He lives in Monticello, MS. His home track is Simpson County Motorsports Park, but he can also be found racing at Jackson Motor Speedway.

He began racing in 1978 in Street Class at County Line Speedway for the challenge. His first win was in 1991 in Street Class at Baton Rouge, LA.

Career highlights include, 2002 UMP MS State Champion, 2003 Simpson County Track Champion, 2003 Combined Track Champion and 2000 Simpson County Track Champion.
