Matthew Daniels drives the #18 Crate Late Model Class car and is racing with the Fastrak Series.  He lives in Woodruff, SC.  His home track is Cherokee Super Speedway.  People who have helped Matthew are Tim and Lee Goper, Mom, Dad, Kelly, Uncle Andy and family members.  Danny Daniels (Dad) is the car owner.

Matthew started racing in 2004 in the Late Model Sportsman Class at Cherokee Super Speedway because he's always loved racing and wants to make a NASCAR career of it!  Career highlights include 2001 Track Champion in Go-Karts, 2nd place in Points in 2002 and 2003 in Go-Karts and 2nd place in Points at Cherokee Super Speedway last year in Late Models.

The thrill of racing for Matthew is just being out there doing what he loves to do.  His most exciting racing moment was the first time he ever sat in a race car, getting ready for his first race.  He's most proud just being out there competing with guys that are 3 times his age.
