Joe Janowski drives the #6J Late Model Class car.  His home track is Brownstown Speedway but he can also be found racing at Kamp Motor Speedway.  He lives in Carmel, IN.

Team members helping Joe are:  Todd Bellew, Mason Janowski.  John Bragg with Bragg Motorsports is the car owner.

Joe started racing in 1980 in the Karts Class at Columbus, IN because his Dad was racing and Joe really wanted to race as well.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include multi-time National Champion in Karts, raced on a very limited budget in Midgets in '99 and had some great runs and top 5's in USAC.  He started racing Late Models in August of '06 both in open and Crate engine classes.

The thrill of racing for Joe is the competition and the love of just being involved in racing.  His most exciting racing moment was, besides Karting, the first time he drove a USAC Midget at Winchester and finished 3rd.  He's most proud of his ability to win and be up front in anything he drives.

Joe's racing hero is A J Foyt.

Of racing, Joe says, It's a blast and it is one of the few sports that hasn't been tainted by excess.  It's a great family sport!".
