John started racing in 1988 in the 6 Cyl

get into racing. His boss put up the money to buy his first car.
His first win was in '90 in the Modified Class at Gillette Thunder
Speedway. Career highlights include Track Championship in '90, 89

The thrill of racing for John is the
competition and being competitive. Dirt tracks change with every
lap. Every weekend is different. His most exciting racing
moment was running side by side with Ryan Allen. He's most proud
of the respect you have from others. Being able to help someone
out getting their car on the track.
John's racing hero is Dewayne Rabbit
Larson.
Of racing, John says, "Being behind the
wheel of a race car, coming out of the corner on turn 2 or 4, looking at
the wall and running down the straight away is hard to describe.
Family is #1!".
