Matt Hubbard drives the #12M Late Model
Class car. He lives in Seaford, Delaware. His home track is Virginia Motor
Speedway, but he can also be found racing at Delaware International
Speedway.
He began racing in 1997 in Jr. 1 Karts at
Mardela Speedway, because his brother made fun of him until Matt did it.
His first win was the same Year, Track and in Karts. Career highlights
include 2002 Delaware State Kart Champion Jr. 2 Lite, 2003 Rookie of the
Year Middleford Speedway (Modified Lite), and 2001 Winner of the Victory
Lap Late Model Challenge at Virginia Motor Speedway.
The thrill of racing for him is getting in
the race car to win and to look good doing it. His most exciting racing
moments were winning his Championships. He is most proud of his wins.
Matt's racing hero is Bill Moyer.
