Steve Sheppard Jr. #5s races out of New Berlin Il.. He began racing in 1989 in a modified.

Steve's Home track is Montgomery County Speedway in Mo. but he races  a lot of UMP and travels to the Winternationals in FL. to race the best.

 Steve's late model is a CJ Rayburn chassis powered by a Mullins race engine. 

He won his first race in 1995. His greatest accomplishment also came that year when he won the Macon Speedway late model track championship. 

His racing hero is the late Dale Earnhardt.

 Racing is in his family. His father Steve Sheppard Sr. played a huge roll in starting Steve Jr. in the sport.

 Steve's goal is to go "BIG TIME" Steve would like to thank his dad and mom, CJ Sheppard and Dave Fulton.
