Dave Hess Jr. drives the #44 Late Model/E-Modified Class car. He lives in Waterford, PA. His home track is Raceway 7, but he can also be found racing at Stateline/Eriez Speedway.

He began racing in 1998 in E Modified and Late Models at Raceway 7, because of his Dad. His first win was in 1999 in Pure Stock Class at Eriez Speedway. Career highlights include, 3 years of running, 2002, 2003 and 2004, NY/PA/OH, Cavalcade Win. in 2004 Pony Late Model Series Feature Win.

The thrills of racing for him are speed and competition. His most exciting racing moment was winning the Stateline Speedway Pony Series Feature Win after almost flipping the car up onto a cement wall. He is most proud of the success he has had in his E-Modified  with more than 50 Feature wins and several Championships.

Dave's racing hero is Chub Frank.
