WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FIGURE 8 PHOTOS AND NOTES  SEPTEMBER 8

Several drivers arrived at the Blossom Chevrolet sponsored Indianapolis Speedrome for opening night practice and tune-up.  Most were not regular racers at the track so came for some experience on the track prior to qualifications beginning Friday the 9^th and the 3-hour final on Saturday the 10^th.  Photos from each night can be viewed at www.luvracinron.smugmug.com.

Thursday night racers included some from Northern and Southern Indiana, plus Kentucky, Florida and Michigan.  Look for exceptional racing this year as these drivers come with great credentials and look really good in practice runs.   They are very excited to participate in this event, and most consider it the top figure-8 event in the country.  Most Indianapolis area drivers arrive on Friday the 9^th for practice runs and the start of qualification races.
