$10,000 SPRINT CAR SHOW IS SET FOR SATURDAY AT EAST BAY RACEWAY PARK

TAMPA, FL…. . 2/3/06……The big $10,000-to-win show for 410 Sprint cars set for Saturday night at East Bay Raceway Park will be a complete show with time trials at 6:15PM and racing at 7:00PM.  The evening caps off with a 40-lap feature event.

Heavy rain hit East Bay Friday morning and the forecast for bad weather until midnight, forced track officials to change the format for the 410 Sprint car Winternationals.  Fans will now see a fresh start for the 50 competitors who had a shot at East Bay’s 1/3 mile clay surface on Thursday night.

Terry McCarl from Iowa, Danny Lasoski from Missouri, Gary Wright from Texas and Greg Wilson from Ohio are just four of the drivers who appear to have the track figured out based on Thursday night’s 25-lap feature finish.   However, with everyone else getting a second chance to improve their strategy and preparations for Saturday’s $10,000 prize, it may be a new face in victory lane.
