Bret Hagan drives the #3H Hobby Stock
Class car. He lives in Culbertson, Nebraska. His home track is Culbertson
but he can also be found racing at McCook and Lexington.
He began racing in 2004 in Hobby Class at
Culbertson because his brother started racing and he always helped him and
finally got a car. His first win was in 2004 at Culbertson in Hobby Class.
Career highlights include First win in Culbertson, 2 wins in a row at
Lexington, and Track Champion in Culbertson.
The thrill of racing for him is knowing
that somebody has a lot more money in their car and he can beat them. His
most exciting racing moment was when he was in third on a restart and
passed the front two cars on the high side of the track and won the race.
He is most proud of being competitive and friendly with all of the other
Bret's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
Of racing, Bret says, "It is the best way
to spend a summer".
