Rick Heinemann drives the #5R Modified Class car. He lives in South Sioux City, NE. His home track is Blackbird Bend but he can also be found racing at  Buena Vista.

He began racing in 1978 in Late Model at Interstate Speedway because he loved watching it as a kid. his first win was in 1981 in late Model at Interstate Speedway. Career highlights include Top 10 in Points During his Late model days. The thrill of racing for him is racing against the best. His most exciting racing moment was  going over the wall in Norfolk. He is most proud of always being with good friends and being known as a clean driver.

Rick's racing hero is Bill Elliott.

Of racing, Rick says, "If you are going to race, it's a full time job. If you can't give 100% don't buy a car."
