Michelle Ploeckelmann drives the #77P IMCA Modified Class car.  She lives in  Green Bay, WI. Her home track is Seymour Tri Oval, but she can also be found racing at Antigo, Beaver Dam 1/2 Mile and Shawno Speedway.

She began racing in 1996 at Seymour Tri Oval in IMCA Modified Class after working on a race car half of the Season prior to 1996 and wanted to start driving herself. She loves the sport and the challenge. Career highlights include, 1996 Rookie of the Year- Seymour Tri Oval,2002 and 2003 Joann Hatton Award-Dodge County Raceway, First woman to win a Heat Race at Thunder Hill Speedway in 2000.

The thrills of racing for her are the speed and the challenge. Her most exciting racing moment was winning the Heat Race at Thunder Hill Raceway, and the first year racing in  Iowa at the Nationals. She is most proud of sticking with it no matter how hard it gets and not letting the guys push her around, taking Rookie of the Year and winning a Heat Race.

Michelle's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Of racing, Michelle says, "It is allot of fun. The thrill is unbelievable. I do not think you will find another sport where your competitors (for the most part), are willing to help you out when needed".
