August Bach drives the #19 Hobby Stock Class car.  His home track is Benton County Speedway.  He lives in Center Point, IA.

August started racing in 1995 in the Hobby Stock Class at Benton County Speedway because his Dad and Grandpa bought his first car and said "that's it!".  Don't tear it up going into #1 on the first lap.....August destroyed it!  His first win was in '97 in the Hobby Stock Class at Benton County Speedway.  Career highlights include Track Championship in '99 at Benton County Speedway.

The thrill of racing for August is that it's the only place he can be at and relax!  His most exciting racing moment was spending 10 years with his buddy Bill Bonnett, 3 Track Championships, 1 National Points Championship in the same year.  He's most proud of getting his boys to see him race.

August's racing hero is Bill Bonnett.
