Allen Montgomery

Allen Montgomery drives the #38 IMCA Hobby Stock class car.  His home track is Boyd Raceway but he can also be found racing at 281 Speedway.  He lives in Rhome, TX.

Team members helping Allen are:  Danny Montgomery, Jerry West, Matt Drottz.

He started racing in 2003 in the Hobby Stock Class at Boyd Raceway to keep himself busy.  His first win was in 2004 in the Hobby Stock Class at I-37 Speedway.  Career highlights include 2004 Texas State Runner Up, 2005 Ice Breaker Series Runner Up, 2005 Texas State Champion in IMCA Hobby Stock Class.

The thrill of racing for Allen is the competition and the speed.  His most exciting racing moment was passing a car on last corner to win Ice Breaker Series race at 281 Speedway.  He's most proud of the fact that he is recognized as one of the top cars in the nation.

Allen's racing hero is Ken Schrader.
