Shannon Anderson drives the #78 IMCA Hobby Stock Class car.  His home track is Shelby County Speedway but he can also be found racing at Rising City Speedway, Buena Vista Raceway, Iowa State Fair Speedway and Stuart Speedway.  He lives in Atlantic, IA.

Team members helping Shannon are:  Jeff Anderson, Mike Anderson, Dale Bitner, Russ & Jordan Afrank, Jake Clarken. 

Shannon started racing in 2007 in the Hobby Stock Class at Shelby County Speedway and Stuart Speedway because his Dad has raced for a long time and Shannon has always helped him.  His first win was in '07 in the Hobby Stock at Stuart Speedway.  Career highlights include '08, '09 & '10 IMCA National Champion, '08 Iowa State Fair Speedway, Shelby County Speedway and Stuart Speedway Track Champion, '09 Iowa State Fair Speedway, Shelby County Speedway, Stuart Speedway and Buena Vista Raceway Track Champion, '09 IMCA Super Nationals winner, '10 Rising City, Shelby County Speedway and Buena Vista Raceway Track Champion. 

The thrill of racing for Shannon is the competition in racing.  His most exciting racing moment was winning Super Nationals in '09.  He's most proud of winning National Championships and his 100th Career win.

Shannon's racing hero is Jeff Anderson.
