Mike Monnig drives the #08 Modified Class car.  His home track is Callaway Raceway but he can also be found racing at Tri City.  He lives in Big Spring, MO.

Team members helping Mike are:  Cullen Thompson, Troy Trentman, Bob Monnig, Lonnie Monnig, Keith Raterman, Dillion (Mouse) Raterman.

Mike started racing in 1993 in the B Mod Class at Capital Speedway because he didn't know any better.  His first win was in '08 in the B Mod at Callaway Raceway.  Career highlights include Tri City Modified Mania B Mod winner, Boone Super Nationals - just showing up!

The thrill of racing for Mike is meeting new people, hanging out with friends and family.  His most exciting racing moment was winning at Tri City Modified Mania.  His brother, Dad and nephew were all there to help.  He's most proud that he doesn't spend every dime he has on racing.  He just does it for fun.

Mike's racing hero is John Logue - successful without an attitude.
