Darren Williams drives the #09 Modified car. He lives in Salisbury, N.C.

He began racing in 1982 in Street Stock Class at Manzanita because racing is the only thing he has ever wanted to do. His first win was in 1985 in Street Stock at Canyon Raceway, Peoria, Az. Career highlights include 1885 Az Late Model Champion, 1998 Super Stock Champion, 60 Main Event Wins and 2002 Super Nationals Champion. The thrill of racing for  Darren is every lap he makes. His most exciting racing moment was winning the Super Nationals. He is most proud of that win.

His racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
