Shawn Blees

Shawn Blees drives the #10-10 IMCA
Modified Class car. His home track is I-30 Speedway but he can
also be found racing at Beebe Speedway. He lives in Mtn. Pine, AR.

Pat Blees, Doris Blees, Tom Gould, Trish Gould, Harold Poteet, Ernie
Pattyn, and Wife - Jouana. David Long is the car owner.
Shawn started racing in 1990 in the Pure
Stock Class at Arkansas Raceway Park because his Dad raced when Shawn
was young. His first win was that same year. Career
highlights include 1996 Modified Champion at Arkansas Raceway Park and
Thunder Mountain, 2000 won Texas Modified Championship $10,000 to win,
2002 Modified Champion at Arkansas Raceway Park, 2005 IMCA Track
Champion at I-30 Speedway.
The thrill of racing for Shawn is the
family involvement and running the top. His most exciting racing
moment was winning the $10,000 to win Texas Modified Championship, of
which he is the most proud.
Shawn's racing hero is Mark Martin.
Of racing, Shawn says, "Get your kids
involved in racing or any sport to try and keep them out of trouble!".
