Mike started racing in 1974 in the
Modified Class at the Sportsdrome Speedway because his Dad raced.
His first win was that same year. Career highlights include 1994 7
week 7 state IMCA Tour 14 in Points 250 recorded, 1996 Devil Bowl IMCA
and Tracks Points Champion, Winter Nationals and Spring National
Champion. 1997 Outlaw Speedway Champion and winner of 1st Modified
Race held at track, 2001 Started 30 in Super Nationals moved to 5th and
Hard Charger Award.
The thrill of racing for Mike is the
competition and helping others with their car set up. His most
exciting racing moment was the 2001 Super Nationals. He's most
proud of the fact that he has been racing this long and still
competitive and his popularity in the racing world.
Mike's racing heroes are his son and his
Father.
Of racing, Mike says, "It's a good ,
family sport!".
