Justin Sackett drives the #17 A Modified
Class car. His home track is Buena Vista Raceway but he can also be
found racing at Boone Speedway and Shelby County Speedway. He lives
in Ankeny, IA.
Team members helping Justin are:
Mom, Dad, Grandpa, Grandma, Sister, Wife and Matt Kruse. Rick
Sackett (Dad) is the car owner.
Justin started racing in 2003 in the A
Modified Class at Buena Vista Raceway because his Grandpa used to race
coupes in the older days. His first win was in 2006 in the A
Modified Class at Boone Speedway. Career highlights include winning
3 Heat Races in a row and finishing in the Top 5 all three of those times.
The thrill of racing for Justin is the
adrenaline rush. His most exciting racing moments were racing at
Boone Super Nationals. He's most proud that they are racing on a low
budget and keeping up with the big guys.
Justin's racing hero is Kelly Shyrock.
