Steve Wetter drives the #33 Modified Class
car. His home track is Lafayette County Speedway but he can also be
found racing at Dubuque Speedway. He lives in Platteville, WI.

Steve started racing in 1998 in the Hobby
Stock Class at Grant County Speedway because it was something to do on
Saturday night. His first win was in '99 in the Hobby Stock Class at
Grant County Speedway. Career highlights include '99 Track Champion
in Hobby Stock, '05 Track Champion in Modified, 16 wins in Modified in one
season.
The thrill of racing for Steve is the
excitement. His most exciting racing moment was winning an Indee
Open Special at Independence Iowa. He's most proud of his family
supporting him in the time commitments.
Of racing, Steve says, "Have fun and enjoy
what you're doing. Do it for the fun, not the money!".
