Jeff Atkinson drives the #35J Modified
Class car. His home track is Thunderhill Speedway. He lives
in Topeka, KS.

Jeff started racing in 1977 in the
Street Stock Class at Topeka Fairgrounds because he was getting to many
speeding tickets. It seemed to slow him down. His first win
was in 1977 in the Street Stock Class at Shawnee Raceway. Career
highlights include 8 Track Championships, Boone Super Nationals
qualifier three times.
The thrill of racing for Jeff is the
competition. His most exciting racing moment was making it into
the Super Nationals 3 times. He's most proud of 2 Track
Championships in one year.
Of racing, Jeff says, "We need more IMCA
tracks in Kansas and it's not all fun and games. It takes a lot of
time, money and work!".
