Corkey Waters drives the #7JR IMCA
Modified Class car. His home track is I-44 Speedway, but he can
also be found racing at Bolivar Speedway and Monnett Speedway. He
lives in Sunrise Beach, MO.

Corkey started racing in 1987 in the
Outlaw Sprint Class car in the World of Outlaws Series because of his
Father. His first win was in 1988 in the Sprint Class at Linn
County Speedway. Career highlights include 1990-1991 10th in the
Points.
The thrill of racing for Corkey is when
the green flag drops. His most exciting racing moment was his
first night in a 900 hp Sprint car! He's most proud of still being
out there having fun.
Corkey's racing hero is Steve Kinser.
Of racing, Corkey says, "More parents
need to get kids involved, off streets and off drugs!".
